BLT Fish with Eugene
What a wonderful three evenings I've had in NYC -- tonight, Eugene met me near Union Square and we headed to BLT Fish, for a fun/delicious/casual dinner and relaxing catchup conversation on everything Eugene, Seattle, Amazon, Eugene-retirement and Dave-newjob related.
Calamari and I have seen our better days, but the spicy calamari appetizer was actually quite yummy. A delicious Striped Bass followed; and, of course, a crisp India Pale Ale wasn't far away.
From what I gathered, BLT Fish is the second or third in a restaurant franchise of sorts... the BLT stands for Bistro Laurent Tourondel, and he's got a BLT Steak somewhere in the big city as well. I hope it stays nice and cozy, but I fear that within 8 years we'll be seeing BLT alongside TGIF and ChuckECheese :-)
