No Snivelling

just had a great week -- friends (the harrington's) were in town, including 3 young children, and they were awesome -- they had a great week of touring seattle... got to stay at Paradise on Mount Rainier, see the Space Needle, Woodland Park Zoo, Pike Place Marketing, Mariners Baseball Game, etc. etc... and it was a ton of fun... plus, the dogs had 3 youngsters to play with! Next up is a weekend of boating, and then over Labor Day Karen & I are visiting Ottawa with friends from Wharton

I'm currently reading The Tipping Point -- very enjoyable book -- if nothing else, I learned the origin of 'Six Degrees of Separation', and so can you!

parents are in town this week -- to bainbridge island yesterday -- nice day in winslow and then checking out the bloedel reserve. tomorrow, the moon? watched memento last night -- i think that i've figured that movie out a bit better finally -- of course, the guy is deluded -- he creates his own reason for living so as not to appear crazy

seafair today -- boat racing, blue angels and hopefully some sun -- maybe to victoria on monday (haven't been there before)
